Join us for the inaugural F3 Endurance Expo event to support area youth and families experiencing crisis. CCYS is a non-profit organization focused on alleviating challenges within the home by ensuring family preservation, homelessness prevention, delinquency prevention, and dependency prevention. Their goal is to reduce suffering of youth during crisis situations and ultimately strengthen family relationships. Every $1 that goes to supporting youth through CCYS services saves the State governing $5.50 in preventing youth from entering the juvenile justice system.
This charity event is sponsored by the Tallahassee Chapter of F3 (organization centered around Fitness, Fellowship and Faith). Most guys come out to F3 first for the Fitness, but come back for the Fellowship and invest long term in the Faith by finding a larger calling through service. This event is open to all youth and adults. The ultimate goal is to raise funds and awareness for youth and families supported by CCYS while participating in an event that gets you out of your comfort zone.
The event will include two parts:
- Rucking with weight (your choice of weight, recommended between 20-40 lbs). This will last for 30 days up until the main event and to be completed on your own, but recommended with friends. Honor system on mileage.
- A series of “F3” boot-camp style workouts. The event will be broken into ten 50 minute workouts with a 10 minute break between each one—all held on one day.
IMPORTANT: The goal of the all day event is to be inclusive to all levels of fitness, but will challenge the most fit individuals. You can ruck any number of miles (0 to 100+) and participate in 1, 2,…8, 9 or all 10 boot-camps workouts. The workouts will follow the F3 mantra—no man (or woman) left behind. We will support each other to push through the workouts. Many examples of prior Tallahassee F3 workouts can be found HERE.
