Registered Nurse
This is a part time position that provides medical oversight and health services for youth ages 10-17 residing in our residential programs. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, well-being and medical compliance off youth while they are receiving services in our care. The Registered Nurse will manage all medication-related processes and conduct health assessments during each youth’s day.
Education/Experience
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida. At least three years experience working with at-risk youth. Experience in nursing practice (pediatric, adolescent, behavioral health, or public health preferred).
Youth & Family Counselor – Community Counseling (Family Place) *Leon County & Wakulla County
The Youth and Family Counselor provides short-term trauma-informed therapeutic services for runaway, truant, and ungovernable youth and their families. These services include initial screening, crisis intervention, case planning, case management, internal and external referrals, progress evaluation, and individual, family and group counseling. This position includes working Monday-Friday from 11 AM – 7 PM. However, hours may be based upon client schedules. This position will be a mix of office-based and school-based counseling services including on call crisis management to the CCYS Someplace Else Emergency Crisis Shelter.
Education/Experience
Master’s Degree in a Social Service required. At least two years of experience working with families and adolescents.
Youth Care Specialist Residential (Someplace Else Shelter & Tree House) *Part Time ONLY
The Youth Care Specialist is responsible for the direct supervision of the residents in the Someplace Else shelter and Tree House group home and effectively providing services to youth admitted to the shelter/group home by demonstrating a comprehensive working knowledge of CCYS policies/procedures and all agency provided programs, assisting with the screening process, ensuring resident and shelter safety at all times, aiding youth in the following of the posted daily schedule and ensuring clear, concise and professional documentation be kept. Shift work is required for all employees. Shift Availability ONLY weekdays and weekends (evenings and overnights)
Education/Experience
A high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years working with youth is required.
SNAP Facilitator (Stop Now And Plan) *Part Time
SNAP Facilitators are responsible for groups during SNAP Programs. The SNAP Facilitator is responsible for administering the SNAP curriculum to either the parent or child during the 13 week SNAP Clinical group cycle or to classrooms in the schools. During the group cycle, the facilitator is responsible for arriving to group one hour ahead of start time to pre brief and set up with co-facilitators. This position generally includes working less than 40 hours per work week with availability in some evenings to accommodate family work schedules and youth school attendance. Also during the day for SNAP in Schools during school hours.
