Since 2003, CCYS has been producing the Capital City’s Bravest Calendar (with the exception of last year). The vision behind the calendar was to create a vehicle to thank the wonderful first responders in our community, as well as raise awareness of CCYS and Project Safe Place
CCYS has been very fortunate to find a wonderful partner who has agreed to underwrite the production and printing expenses of the calendar this year. Star & Shield Insurance has graciously agreed to be our Title Sponsor.
In the past, the Calendar has featured outstanding men and women of law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics in Leon County - this year we’re proud to add sworn officers who work in Corrections. Nominations for the calendar are accepted year round from any community member. The deadline for nominations is September 10th and the nominees are then judged by members of Youth Leadership Tallahassee.
