For the YOUTH
Your story is different from anyone else’s and we understand that. You, what you’ve been through, and mostly, where you’re headed are what we can help you with. Above all else, our goal is to help you have a safe journey, on the road to becoming self-sufficient. All services are offered with NO STRINGS ATTACHED. If you are younger than 22, living or traveling through the Big Bend area, and need help, let us know!
For the PROVIDERS
We know that your job is not easy. You may be a teacher, counselor, law enforcement officer, social worker, or simply a friend of a youth in need. If you are at the end of your own resources and would like help for a youth under the age of 22, living or traveling through the Big Bend area, let us know! We don’t want to see any youth slip through the cracks when help and resources are available.
We can connect homeless or runaway youth with services, or just help a family get through a tough time. Do you know a kid with unstable residence, exposure to substance abuse or alcohol, or who’s a a young victim of domestic violence? We understand that some youth will not or are unable to enter a shelter or return home. We will work with each individual to setup a plan to prevent abuse or exploitation while surviving on the streets. Our goal is to help youth in need have a safe journey on the road to self-sufficiency.
We can help youth and providers in the following ways:
- Supportive and non-judgmental approach
- Advice & guidance with goals/problems
- Connection to services (local or abroad)
- Long or short term follow up
We can also provide:
- Housing/Emergency Shelter
- Survival Aid
- Gear/Clothes/Hygiene Items
- Food Stamps
- Bus tickets Home
- Communication with loved ones
